Metadata Fields

Metadata fields are optional configuration items shared by outbounds that write file entries.

Metadata Fields are available in these components:

• Local outbound
• Archive outbound

Fields

preserve_mode

Preserve file permissions.

Enabled by default.

preserve_owner

Only supported on Linux and macOS.

Preserve file owner and group.

Enabled by default.

preserve_time

Preserve file modification time.

Enabled by default.
